Your Meta ad account is scheduled for deletion
Somebody with admin on Holgate Electrical Ltd asked Meta to delete the ad account. It is now read only, so no ads can run and nothing can be fixed from our side. This is the account everything is wired to, so we need it kept, not replaced.
It is not a ban and it is not a billing problem
We checked the account directly. There is no policy strike against it and no unpaid balance. It is a straight deletion request, which means either you did it or the old agency did it on their way out.
Meta holds an account in this state for a while before it goes for good. While it sits there it cannot spend, cannot be edited, and cannot be handed to anyone. Once it is fully gone it is gone.
What this is blocking
We cannot build or launch your campaigns, and Paul cannot take over the account for the ads work. Your pixel is fine and still tracking your site, so none of that history is lost. It is only the ad account that is on the way out, and it is the one everything points at.
Cancel the deletion
This is the quickest fix by a mile. If the option is there, it is one click.
Open your Meta Business settings
Go to business.facebook.com/settings and make sure you are in the Holgate Electrical Ltd business at the top left, not a personal profile.
Find the ad account
It should be flagged as closing, deleting or pending deletion.
Press Cancel closure
You will see a red banner reading Your ad account will be closed soon, with a Cancel closure button directly underneath it. That is the one. Press it and confirm.
Then refresh the page. The red banner should be gone.
If you get "This page isn't available"
That is Meta throwing a wobbly, not you doing it wrong. It happens on this screen a lot.
Go back, then try it again in this order until one sticks.
- Refresh and press Cancel closure again.
- Open the same page in a private or incognito window.
- Try a different browser, Chrome if you were on Edge.
- Try on your phone in the Meta Business Suite app.
Then refresh and check the red banner has gone. That is the only thing that tells us it worked.
If the button keeps erroring
Do not start a new account. This one is what we want, your pixel, your pages and your tracking are all wired to this exact account ID, so a replacement means rebuilding all of it and losing the history.
Open a chat with Meta support
Tell them you want to cancel the pending deletion on ad account 1271348984731854 and keep it open. They can reverse it from their side while it is still pending.
Once it fully closes it cannot come back
A pending deletion can be reversed. A completed one cannot, and we would be rebuilding your setup from scratch on a new account.
- Nothing can go live until this is cancelled.
- Everything else on our side is already wired to this account.
- We are ready to launch the same week you sort it.
